Hypothetical studies of non-visible Shadows (August, 2022) displays a set of works, as the name suggests, of abstract studies on incorporeal contents transformed into body, matter, substance - in Shadows. In its most generic meaning, shadow arises when an obstacle blocks the passage of light, forming a space/shape absent of light, a dark space/shape. Here the Shadows are included and understood as a projection of a void that is not palpable and only visible, therefore being associated with a hypothetical representation of someone, but receiving a new meaning: it is no longer just an image of a physical body revealed by light, becoming an exteriorization of the body, a projection from the inside to the outside, which allows the passage from the internal to matter. The work symbolizes a set of languages of forms that aim to communicate through the purity, rigid and, at the same time, fragile transparency that glass entails. Through this support, line and stain drawings are embedded in time, transforming into images that reflect on an introspective and profound experience. Since the moment of artistic production is capable of going beyond the corporeal and material universe, this passage from the interior to the exterior raises questions that go beyond what we capture through our senses. For this reason, these selection of works serves as an expansion of self-gnosis, along unknown paths of a complex and unintelligible metaphysical universe.
